Wild Walnut
Common Name: Radal (mapuche) or Wild Walnut Description Walnut wood is very similar to Hazelnut wood, but of a poorer quality and thus mainly used as firewood, all the more so it grows in large quantity. The bark oh this tree is used to dye wool in a naturally way, giving it a dark coffee color.

The Walnut tree is green and small, and can reach 15m high and 80cm of diameter. Located between the IV and X Chile regions, this tree grows on various climatic and grounds conditions. The Walnut bark is light grey with longitudinal and little deep cuts.
