The emergence of Osorno and Calbuco volcanoes, and their repeated eruptions, gave rise to an area that originally was covered by one big lake. That is how today’s Lake Llanquihue and Lake Todos los Santos came into life. The latter empties into the stunning Petrohué River.

On one of the banks of that river is where Fishing Petrohué is located -a natural environment that is embedded in one of the most biodiversity-rich regions in Patagonia and in the whole country-. Volcanoes, rivers, and lakes, that are populated by an incredibly beautiful wildlife, crisscross the area. This is the landscape in which each one of our visitors will enjoy an outstanding fishing experience.
